If you would like to invite new members, you may either do so yourself, or I can do so. I am giving all participants full administrative powers. That includes inviting new members to participate!
To invite new members- click on "Settings", next to "Posting", then follow onto "Members." There you will see the list of belongs, has been invited and so on. You can also invite a person from this page.
I think a CDC might be a neat idea. And a NavCenter would be a dynamic way to make it work as it should. CDC's have in enough cases manage to make bad places stay that way for a long time. Involving the community, finding small pieces of captial for small diverse enterprises are very important methods to adhere to. Indeed, I've been rereading Jane Jacobs' Death and Life of Great American Cities- and I am reminded of all of this. 40 years later we are still making the same mistakes.
How do you see a CDC, SDC and a NavCenter interrealting?

ps: let's sign our posts! BLOGGER doesn't do it for us, alas.
All-
If you want to make a link- use the button with the Earth & Chain, paste your link address in there. Now, it makes a bunch of html with a's and < >, and right before the final < /a > bit you type in the name of the link. This is what we'll see when we look at the text- and it will be in color and underlined.
The SDC blog is waking up again. There has been a renewed intrest. And while I had thought to begin a whole new blog, I have reconsidered. I think now that this one is fine. A project like this will have starts and stops, and realizing this we must realize that it is our task to continually re-start it. The scope of the project is clear, is does not need to be re-invented. It is a matter broadcasting the idea, of refining it, of actualizing it.
